Subject: [CR]I.D. or frame # stamped on headtube

hello all,

whilst having a "butchers hook" through some stuff on ebay i noticed a CR period Poghlighi with the frame # stamped on the lower forward portion of the headtube lug. i have never seen this before and i think it looks super neat and doesn't look out of place or perhaps even adds to the character of the headtube decal (if one could say that about decals on headtubes).

overall the bike is winsome. i wish to ask if any other frame builders have used this type of location. sure its a small detail and draws the eye where some think it might not be best to but i like it.

another intersting thing about the bike is its fenders - no brazeons but looks clamped (hard to see from the pic) on the seat stay and further up the fork arms. as neat as ive seen on a race/italian bike from that era for quite sometime.

not sure about the black ano campy parts but then again i like disco music, drink sherry and wear cowboy boots without a cuban heel so maybe i aint a hip cat.

ciao
