This is a very odd-sounding statement. All the Bianchi Superleggera and Corsa that I have encountered and the one that I own have had their full complement of panto'd parts including the "Mexico Treatment" cranks.

Maybe they lasted because the Mexico-treatment Bianchi panto'd Campagnolo cranks were Hecho en Mexico?
