No, I'm not pulling your leg. Well maybe you should replace the word "any" with "many", which is what I did mean to write, sorry. Mitzi who's coming back from 7 weeks in Belguim, Germany, and Northern Italy tomorrow (YEA!) commented on it to me two or three days ago. One particular incident sticks in my mind. A few years back we were in Amsterdam and watched a woman on her "omafiets" (grandma bike) take a really deep right on wet cobbles with one hand on the bars and the other had a cell phone and cigarette. Add to that a child on the toptube on one of those bolt on seats and foot peg setups and a big load of groceries on the back. I've seen tons of examples of people having astounding powers of bicycle control and give all the credit to a lifetime of of cycling as a way of life. enjoy, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives SB, CA --
