Gee whiz, you mean those Specialized cranks broke too? Unbelievable! They didn't even sell that many! Musta been defective or something....

This happened even though they had the "right" alloy selected thirty years later than Campy by the "good" Engineers? Amazing!! Alert the media! ;-)

(Hint: you can substitute virtually any aluminum bicycle crank manufacturer's name for Specialized in Brandon's comment above.... Maybe in Jim's too, for that matter. Mach's nicht).
