This was from the 1958 crankset only, so it's a part that was made for 1 year
only, not too many spares if any, and a lot of them got blown out and lost.
The first Campy pedals had shorter threads (for steel cranks, at least my con
denti alloy track pedals do), and the dust cover took up the slack. If you
installed a pedal with the longer thread, you either popped out the dustcover
by accident or removed it. Early, one-year-only parts command a premium.
Matteo had a 2nd year of production Gran Sport rear derailleur (made for 1
year only) that sold for over $1,000.
Don't part out those pedals yet.
