There were a number of 'Ordinaries' over 120 years ago that already used spokes whose tension could be adjusted at the hub side. Just another demonstration that there is very little truly 'new' invented in cycling. Old ideas are often dug up out of the past and updated using new materials and voilĂ ! You don't even have to pay royalties for the patents either.
