A question for the list that I believe may have been addressed in the past but I'm not able to find the messages in the archives.
I have recently come across what appears to be an old Italian saddle built in the Brooks fashion. Looks be of a lesser grade than a Brooks or Ideale saddle. On the side is an oval logo marked "Dolomiti, Marca Depositata Modello Gran Prix." In the Ideale fashion, a smaller oval logo is marked with "B/17."
Does anyone know anything about this saddle? Age? Is it a cheap mark-off?
