Hello all The first reference to new white patch regulations was 1935. Catalogs from then on had quite a choice of different clipon patches, including short celluliod mudguard attachments, metal and celluliod disks, and also some that were a patch and rear lamp combined The first patented reflector was in 1907 by Lea- Francis and known as the "leaf" reflector. It was manufactured by Components Ltd who made Fleet and Ariel cycles
