I just got a ring from Chris at Highpath and it is gorgeous! The literature says to allow 21 days for custom orders but mine took only a week. The prices for these rings sent my machinist friend into shock--he refuses to believe it would be possible to make only 1 ring, 100% custom, even for several times the price! (The pricelist is on the website.)
I think this could be very helpful for some of our projects. Chris can make really weird stuff like 8mm and 10mm pitch (i.e. the rare Dura Ace track stuff), in any configuration from 17 to 110 teeth. He's also got a clever system to make Shimano and Campy cassettes 100% compatible (not that any of us use that new junk).
