Group--- I have received framesets that were sent and delivered in England, with no packing or padding--- just a rough wrapping of cardboard--- and received in excellent condition! I have a hard time convincing some of those folks that, when shipping to the US, they should be wrapped as if shipping by catapult (thanks, Jim)--- My point is: which side of the pond (and whose post office) does the rough treatment occur? Yes, Carsten does ship bikes for very reasonable sums. However, the post office treats the boxes roughly, so it is worth spending a few more Euros to add insurance. Carsten packs the bikes well, but the post office would seem to have other ideas. Have had several bikes arrive in good shape, with the boxes in shreds and a lame look from the Postie...
