Holdsworth were a famous London maker from around the early 1920s to the modern day. Quite a few of their frames were named on a wind theme Whirlwind, Mistral, Hurricane, Typhoon and Cyclone De- Luxe. They also pioneered one of the first all alloy welded frames the Roi-De- Velo which is featured in the latest copy of Boneshaker. This frame was first shown at the Earls Court bicycle show in 1949.They also had a very successful professional team for many years and marketed a frame identical to their team model commonly finished in orange. If anyone is looking for a secondhand head-badge i have one spare.

Be lucky Mick B.
