Ah, Mark, I remember Mojave by Moonlight as well... A great ride once you're over the pass and out of the LA smog. IIRC, the organizers were Bill McCready of Santana and Bud's Bike Shop and Pete Van Nuys of Wandervogel.

And, Mark, I always loved that Moulton paint job as well. Besides the 5 colors of pearl fade front to back, it also had a white to black fade fron ttop to bottom - with Silca pump to match! Definitely one of the most gorgeous frames I ever owned... Someday, I'll scan some photos for Dale, if interested.
