I'm very familiar (experienced) with the regular parallelogram(sp?) Simplex SLJ 5500 but have never used the Simplex SLJ 6600 slant parallelogram rear derailleur. Anyone on the list have experience with both items and care to discuss your comparison of them in use? Also, did both come in short and long cage versions; and with the advantage of being able to handle a greater amount of chain, does the long cage have any negative affect on how well they work?

Thanks in advance,
