On this Mark Bulgier had some wise and valid comments like:

Being an offender I would like to say - on list - yes, do not speak about each and everyone, but if the virus is new and virulent and is on the list, do. I got this bug twice yesterday. First time it was so new that my anti-virus defence had only a preliminary version and it gave me real trouble for an hour. Would have been nice to know. Second time no problem.

And I certainly do not blame the "sender"!
