Some of you might recall that I recently won this auction:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1862084565

and shortly thereafter asked here, and on the iBoB list, for URLs and info about packing to send the seller, as I was concerned from his emails that he'd never sent a bike anywhere and hadn't a clue how to pack a bike. Turns out he employs someone to pack his eBay items, and this guy may never have packed a bike before but he certainly wasn't short of packing supplies or ideas!

Take a look at what arrived this morning:

I was floored and just had to take some pictures of the whole unwrapping process to share. Next week I'll begin stripping the bike down and sorting parts and bits for later sale and to keep for project bikes. The wildest thing about this bike is that the headtube and the top tube are pantographed(!) with the Gardin name! I have never seen this done on the tubes before. Odd eh?

Cheers,
