Hello friends-

These Pino BB's are pretty neat, but very unpractical. They require some drastic modification to your BB shell. I can't remember what threading they are, but whether they're English or Italian, they require re-threading of your BB shell. If your shell is English, then the fixed side has to be changed to right hand threading, AND the threading has to be done with a tap that is at least as long as your shell is wide because the threads have to be continuous, (e.g. as you thread the BB through the shell, things have to line up, and that will only happen if the threads were cut with one tap in one continuous motion) and, by the way, these long taps are hard to find. This is also the case if your BB shell is Italian. So, the bike ends up being built around the BB.
