I suspected that this might have been the Vic Nicholson bike (The Moulton Story, page 69, Tony Hadland, author). I asked Mr. Hadland about this bike via e-mail and he said that while the Nicholson bike is in Alex Moulton's personal collection, this bike is certainly VERY similar, perhaps (although far from certainly) a backup bike for Nicholson's record attempts. A very rare and significant bike in the small world of Moulton enthusiasts- and how much are the new ones, or even older AM's? (I daresay there are far fewer Moulton "S" Speeds around than there are, say, Confentes?)
