Latest list of parts and books for sale to CR members before they go to Ebay. Some items have already been to Ebay - they are now offered to CR members at a considerable saving. I have photos of many of the items - or can take one if necessary. All items are priced in $. Shipping will be extra charged at cost. Payment can be made in cash with dollars or by money order in Pounds sterling ($1.45 to 1 GBP). American Express Travellers cheques in $ are also fine. PEDALS, POLITICS and PEOPLE the autobiography of Hubert Opperman, published 1977. Signed by Opperman and dedicated to Jock Wadley, one of the greatest writers on cycling in the 20th century. No dustjacket and marked cover. 511pp Hubert Opperman was the first English speaking cyclist to contest the Tour de France and was 18th in 1928 and 12th in the 1931 Tdf and won the 1931 Paris-Brest-Paris. He later had a distingushed career breaking British place to place records for BSA. This is an exceptionally rare book and great to read though the second half mostly deals with his political career. Quite a few lovely photos. $45
