I thought so at first, but then remembered my ex-Lenton Grand Prix which had a much longer TT then ST. I also think Hilary commented on this about a month back. If I remember correctly he said that British Isles riders preferred more standover height in the 40s and 50s. Anyone else remember this?

Thankfully the TT is that long or I would have been forced to ask M for an early Xmas present. Actually when we first saw that auction Mitzi said, "I want that." Luckily it's way too big for either of us. I'll also add that that is the nicest fork crown I've seen in a long time. Was that a stock crown from one of the lug makers of the time?
