hi list,

Somewhere along the line we all mispronounce words we perhaps have never heard but either just read or written (be it our native language or foreign). Often we carry on the incorrect pronunciation of others without knowing. Its no real sin and mostly whatever word we are saying in a different language its usually understood. I would never be insulted or snicker at some mispronounced english words or phrases by women from any non-english speaking country (including TN) - in fact i would go so far as to say that i am more attentive and intrigued with their mellifluos accents, structure and intonation even if technically incorrect. As Dale, im sure would say, sometimes aural boner's are to be enjoyed.

A guy from another site (also named Matteo but not our signore Brandi) announced that he posted a few MP3's of some cycling terms and, brands and names. Some of it is classic content.

ciao,

Ben Kamen, NYC by way of OZ (who can pronounce Buick 3 different ways - none of them "correct")
