Recently there was what I thought to be an interesting Claud Butler on Ebay (I have deleted the bookmark so I no longer have reference to it). Its price was at least interesting enough to bid, even given the expense of shipping to the USA. When I went to bid, pretty close to the end of the auction, I noticed that the seller would only ship within the United Kingdom.

What I'm wondering, though I don't know internal British mailing and shipping costs, is if it would be possible to buy something like this, have it mailed or shipped to a British CR member, and have that member forward it on to the USA winner. Whatever the costs, including fees, would be borne by the buyer. I would be willing to do this for British members where the sale is only open to USA buyers.

Perhaps the costs involved would make this not worth pursuing, though I am only wondering or asking is this is feasible.

Cheers.

Tom
