Whew! That was one long post! <g> Here's my sad sad story............ I ordered one of those frames on that list offered by Mark Lawrence back in April 2001. (1 1/2 years ago!) Then it turned out that it wasn't as described and Mark says" Why don't you just have Norman make one?" So this is taking place after Norman's announced and attempted retirement.

Maybe 6-7 months later (a year ago?) the frame arrived...Nervex lugged, box lined, touring geometry with custom rear rack, etc. Of course, the down side was that it was definitely not the exact size nor spec I had ordered. (I am a bit anal about these things.)

I subsequently (3 months ago?) offered it for sale to this list at less than I had spent to get it here... I had a good buyer when, while readying it for shipment, my top staff member knocked it over and put a nice chip in the paint. It had been perfect until that point and I got so p___ed that it sits in the shop waiting for my temper to settle so I can do a decent repair on it. Maybe my very nice buyer will still be interested or maybe it will be back on the market then...

But, I think if someone tracked down Norman today, he would make a frame for them...
