SA ASC, Campy hi-lo and Maxicar hubs, Herse and Singer bicycles, and best of all Zeus: http://ebay.com/<blah> are all things that I might not bid on, but enjoy seeing.

Even more interesting, are the "Is it real?" disscussions when claims are made by sellers. Those discussions are a simple fact of life when you shop for collectibles.

The mix of industry insiders, historical knowledge, access to scanned brochures and rabid collectors on this list lessen the "buyer beware" dangers. It is still a rough and tumble market out there, full of fake Cinellis, oddball Campagnolo team bikes and 151 BCD chainrings. Steven M. Johnson, Chesapeake, VA
