Joel's message took me to his Taylor Serial Number Web page
which has an entry for a bike listed as "ex-works". I know
what this means with respect to sports/racing cars - i.e. a car
raced by the manufacturer's own factory team. But what does it
indicate with respect to Jack Taylor bicycles? Is it supposed
to indicate that it's a special frame that was supplied to one
of their sponsored riders? Or what...???
