Scott, Did anyone say the letter was fake? I did not see a post that said so, maybe I missed it. I thought everyone was in agreement that the letter was actually written by Alberto Masi. But because Alberto is not the "primary source" in terms of the frame at issue, I think it only logical that there be some questions.

The things that the "List" was questioned were, 1: is the content of the letter open to different meanings 2: is the accuracy of the content based on memory that could be mistaken 3: Are there possible multiple translations or cultural differences that could impact the meaning of the content.
