For the record and by coincidence Today while in the warehouses searching for a special need, I tripped on an orange Merckx I forgot I had. Merckx orange unknown origin

Basic Japanese parts, maxy swaged crank, Suntour Honor chrome RD, Maillard or Maillard knock off(Suzue) hf hubs with kidney cutouts. chromed rims, zinc spokes While I'm supposed to be the one who should know, I'm not sure it's from Mexico or not, my guess is Japan or Europe. I have a pair of the Falcon Merckx full Campag Nuovo from the 1974 era, but is not nearly the same quality. The other Orange Eddy I have is Belgian or Italian, probably a re-issue from late 80's
