hello all,

a guy (otis) on rbr.com (classics forum) found an old fixed gear in a bike shop basement. he posted some pics (dirt intact and then cleaned a little) but isnt really getting very far in figuring out just what it is - any have any clues?

it has Fb hubs, mafac brake, chater lea cranks, berthet pedals. bottom bracket reads "P5" and digits are "404xxxx". paint is not original but the top tube decals may have been masked off. the seat stay bridge bridge is not drilled for a brake.

whatever it is he mentioned that it was too big for him ... perhaps he might be interested in selling.

any clues?

ciao,
