I recently asked the E-Bay seller of a recently mentioned Peirce Arrow bike with original generator and kickstand that the seller claimed to have been ridden in TDF just who the rider of this illustrious bike might have been. His reply was

i am not sure who rode the bike, i do not know where to. it has all of its
cereal Numbers on it. Peirce arrow was a famous car company in the erlay
50's, their cars were for millionars. they made this bike for the race. if
you are interested please write back. I am looking around 600+
