With this discussion of 'speculative marketing', there is possibly a much worse case scenario. Given the presumption that a fair number of items sold at ebay are in fact stolen merchandise, I am wondering if some of the things advertised are photos taken prior to the theft actually taking place. See if there is a market to fence the goods, and whether it is worth your while, then 'go to work'. How else can you explain some of these from the window and down the hall photos, or the ones in dark garages?

Not paranoid, just trying to figure out the 'criminal mind'.
