Hi Lou,

Not tired yet, keep them coming. I have that issue too, and thought they did a good job of explaining their criteria. As a racing journal, they focused mainly on the competitive success the marques as their main criteria. You can argue all you want about what criteria should make up a list like this, but I think they came up with an interesting list. Seems the Brits like this sort of thing, as Autosport does the same thing most winters....

March 1999 Cycle Sport names the top 12 road bikes of ALL-TIME: Drum rolllllllllll: 1. Bianchi 2. Colnago 3. Pinarello 4. Gitane 5. Raleigh 6. Flandria 7. DeRosa 8. Cannondale 9. Peugeot 10.Vitus 11.Litespeed 12.Merckx And, the honorable mention: Helyett, Gios, Olmo, Rossin, Benotto, Moser, Giant, Concorde, Splendor, Gazelle, Mercier, Lotus. And what name, my dear CR listmembers, is missing?????????? (No, the missing framebuilder is not a CR listmember, but nice try).
