As many of you are aware Martin Coopland at REClassicBikes@aol.com is selling NOS 1980's Colnago steel frames/forks. I just bought one of these, a Colnago International, and it was great to see the brand new frame emerge from the packing box. It also came with a Colnago saddle. He tells me he has a number of frames left, so I hope others can have the same pleasure that I have.

More than twenty years ago I used to stand at the various local bike shops in Chicago and stare longingly at the bikes on the wall. There were a few Colnago's, a Cinelli that was so far out of my price range that I almost couldn't imagine it, a chrome Schwinn Paramount, several Bianchi's, a Gios, etc. My friend and I used to debate the virtues: Cinelli or Colnago? A Raliegh Grand Prix was the first good bike that I could afford given my limited income from chores and allowance. Like many I have talked with who share the same interest, I am now acquiring the bicycles I dreamed of then. This Colnago is one of them.
