I've just joined this list with a specific reason in mind (see below), but just so you know who I am...
I think I joined this list briefly a few years ago when trying to find out a little about my Mercia frame. I also have a 1936 Claud Butler and a 1950's 531 Carpenter tandem. For more modern bikes, I own a Santa-Cruz Superlight MTB, Scott Comp Racing mtb, GT CX bike, and a Trek OCLV Road Racer. I used to race, but now ride mostly for fun (with the odd event thrown in for good measure).
Anyway, onto the point of my message:
Having had a lot of difficulty finding decal scans, I thought I'd set up an internet archive of scanned decals so people can print them off and get new ones made up.
If anyone has any (any make or model), can you email them to me, including (where you have the info):
* make * model * year * original frame colour * position on frame for each decal * dimensions * anything else that you might think is interesting about it/ them
As soon as I have more than about 2, I'll stick up a web site, and if I get any sort of response at all, I might make something where people can upload new ones.
Don't worry if you don't have all the info - anything would be appreciated, and I'll just collect the lot.
