Latest list of books and parts for sale to CR members before they go to Ebay. A few are items that did not sell on Ebay - they have been reduced in price for CR members. I can take photos if necessary. All items are priced in $. Shipping will be extra charged at cost. Enquire for actual cost if you like before deciding. Payment can be made in cash with dollars or by money order in Pounds sterling ($1.45 to 1 GBP). American Express Travellers cheques in $ are also fine. CTC GAZETTE BOUND VOLUME This is a rather odd volume - it includes March to October 1933, January and March 1934, January and August 1939 and March 1940. However it does give a wonderful flavour of British touring cycling in the 30s - both equipment wise and the preoccupations of CTC (Cyclists¹ Touring Club) members. It has a good selection of interesting ads and is a substantial volume. $40

WHAT WILL YOU DO, JIM by Ralph Hurne First edition. Published 1966 207pp This is the first of two novels by Ralph Hurne concerning cycle racing - this is a lovely story concerning a famous racing cyclist who is on the brink of retiring from the sport. Complete with excellent dustjacket with stylised picture of racer with a Mercier shirt. $30

WHERE THERE¹S A WHEEL by Chas Messenger 215ppThe story of the Tour of Britain races from 1958 to 1964. Chapter by chapter account for each year. Well illustrated Excellent dustjacket. $25

REYNOLDS 27.0mm ALUMINIUM PLAIN SEATPIN Only a few minor sctratches, a little fine surface corrosion but nothing to worry about. $15

CAMPAGNOLO GT STEEL REAR DERAILLEUR 1970s - the large chrome plated job, long arm touring gear. In very good used condition, very slight bruising to both pivot bolts and a little wear to the inside of the jockey cage plate. Looks extremely good $55

BIKE RIDERS AIDS CATALOGUE 1969-70 This catalogue produced by the Holdsworthy company listed and illustrated most of the lightweight and racing kit available to British cyclists. For many years it was a yearly production. It includes all of Campagnolo¹s kit - the brakes were the new introduction for 1969 and Cinelli, Huret, Simplex, GB, Fiamme, Lyotard, Williams plus many smaller accessories. Small format but 84pp. This one is in excellent condition save for a little damp staining on the bottom of the last half. $25

MAVIC GEL280 36H SPRINT RIMS NOS for tubular tyres (singles) excellent unused condition $65

BROOKS SADDLE SPANNER - for adjusting the nose bolt tension on Brooks saddles very good used condition $15

CYCLO 2-SPD CONVERTER for STURMEY ARCHER GEAR 19/22T. Fits on in place of the single co and will turn a 3-spd SA gear into six speeds or a 4-spd into 8speeds with a derailleur. $25

AGRATI BB AXLE NOS for cottered cranks long right hand side for double chainwheel, overall length is 5.4in. Centres are slightly wider than normal and it is probably intended for an Italian BB. It will work fine in a British BB if used with fairly thin cups. $15

APEX CLARION BLACK CELLULOID 16in PUMP Nice condition with pump connector and with an attractive ribbed barrel. $20

CAMPAGNOLO PUMP HEAD and FRAME CUP NOS from the 1970s/80s. $35

TA CRANKSET NOS 170mm chainset complete with crank dustcaps. There are a one or two very, very minor marks. $85

1961 SPORTING CYCLIST BOUND VOLUME with all issues for 1961. They have been bound complete with all their adverts. The Sporting Cyclist was a British monthly cycling magazine which ran from 1955 through to 1967. Its editor in the early days was J B Wadley one of the very best cycling journos and a frequent contributor was Rene de Latour, one of the greats of French cycling journalism. Sporting Cyclist¹s main interest was in racing both British and continental these issues for example include a great article on Jean Robic as well as full reports on the TDF etc. They are wonderfully illustrated and laid out. $40

MODOLO STYLE WHITE LEVER HOODS They are not dry or cracked. $15

CONTINENTAL PATTERN REYNOLDS BARS - excellent condition with very few marks, complete with sleeve. This shape is really quite rare and features a very slight rise from the centre section with a deeper drop than normal. This pair are 17in (43cm wide) (c-to-c). $45
