Wes Gadd wrote - Universal made an inexpensive centerpull that came OEM on entry level They seem to have been aimed at the same price point as the Ballila centerpulls of the same era - sort of a notch down from Weinmann 999 and Mafac Racers.
I have a pair that came from a Campagnolo Valentino equiped Mazeratti (SP?) They are however very effective stoppers.
They were accompanied by Ballila levers which I didn't try. They spent some time on my Serotta Club series. They have a slightly longer reach than the Universal 68 sidepulls they replaced. They responded well to polishing and look top notch.
