my guess is that its because jos were the lights of choice for rene herse - all the ads for herse that list the parts he uses (jos lights, maxi-car hubs, lefol fenders etc etc) mention jos... pretty much anything that wouldve been the stock component of choice on a herse seems to go for more...

also, the jos logo is cooler than the radios, cibie, soubitez etc logos, at least in my opinion, but i doubt that has much to do with the prices :)

my theory is that its just that direct connection/endorsement with/by herse.
