No, you're not agreeing with me, I was agreeing with you first, so there. You were right first... like it or not However... I did add the crap about this kind of change happening continuously, because I got the imprtession that you were saying kind of singular event took place that lead to things like Cadd 6 and OCLV. I guess I assumed you were saying that, there was some sort of "event" because the rate of change has been notably brisk in the last 10 years, and it could be argued that there actually has been some sort of "revolution." Tom Dalton Bethlehem, PA Richard M Sachs <richardsachs@juno.com> wrote:Tom Dalton writes: Changes in materials and process, brought an engineering/scientific approach, have lead to great performing bikes that are quite affordable (Prince aside). To say they have "already" been applied suggests that engineering/science weren't applied "before" and haven't been since. I think recent developments have been pretty revolutionary within the world of bikes, but change driven by an interplay between craft and science/engineering has been happening all along. . ************

telling that! i'm agreeing withYOU! they've simutaneously been applied all along. the obvious difference is that last decade's engineering/science is old news and this year's (engineering/science) isn't. e-RICHIE chester, ct
