Peugeot, like all French manufacturers, varied the exact components on their bikes a lot in the 70's, though Peugeot, unlike some, stuck with predominantly French stuff. I would think that both the model 49 and the model 93, as well as other models appeared on PR10L's or equivalent Peugeots in the 70's, and therefore either crank would be "correct". In either case, buy yourself a crank puller for the unique Stronglight extractor thread. A modern puller will not fit, and DO NOT try to use a TA extractor. Sheldon has the Stronglight-type extractor for sale on his web site.
