Seeing the photo of the opened Campy grease reminds me that I often noticed that Campy grease had a different look and even different consistency, depending on the batch. I recall the peanut butter shade of the grease in the auction, and don't think it is just the result of age, as I have some 20 year old Campy grease in the basement that is still snow-white.

This inconsistency in the product is what led me to the conclusion that Campy grease is just white lithium grease from whatever manufacturer that Campy bought the stuff from at the time. Anyone have any proof that I was wrong?
