Hi Stevan, I feel most comfortable on a 57cm, but a 58cm is not a bad size either and my elderly back doesn't really mind less of a "racer" position these days. Purely recreational cyclist at this point in life. I've always preferred Columbus tubing over Reynolds (and I have had a couple of 531 frames), my 1974 bike was a '73 Cinelli Super Corsa. It was a 58cm silver frame. Chuck Schmidt's comment is also true during the early 70's era in the Toronto area, where it seems "complete bikes" were dealer-built and only framesets were imported. I prefer Italian frames, and the frames that were the ultimate in my youth are what I want to re-live now. So basically any builder's product that Eddy Merckx rode is okay by me.... ;^) Seriously, I've come to realize that finding an exact replacement for my original Cinelli is highly unlikely - and I've been looking a bit.
