It looks very similar to the bike used by the Dane Hans Henrik Oersted for his hour record attempts. He set a low altitude record in 1985 on such a bike and perhaps used it in his attempt in Mexico in 1979 too. I can't be sure of that. 1972 is most definitely not correct.
