Browsing LeBay this morning, and came across this MAVIC auction from Hilary Stone:

Note that the two rims have different red mavic logos. The rim on the bottom has the "S.S.C." lettering inside the red rectangle. I've never seen this before. I heard that MAVIC provided these rims to professionals only for the first few years. Could this be a rim that was not offered sale, and the other version is the type that was?
