Hi, David,
I looked over 4 of "bronze" (or steel) Record RD's, from 65 Paramount, 68 Holdsworth, etc.., but all are exactly same. The inscription; PATENT CAMPAGNOLO on top, numbere "13-36" on backside of main body, CATENA 3/32 inside of cage, pulleys are black steel and round (circular), I remeber around 1970, when I saw N/R alloy Record RD, it was so light, and pulleys were plastic and toothed like Suntour/Shimano, so I said to myself that what a change! Campy stared copying Japanese design???
Some of us, amateur racing buddies, thought the new N/R were so light and weak look, and thought it could break if you shfit too fast!
