There seems to be some revised/updated company history posted on the new Bob Jackson website, telling how JRJ was the name first applied to bicycles build by Bob Jackson & company. It might be worth a look to check this out: http://www.bobjacksoncycles.com

here is some useless information from the e-archives... in 1971 when i began receiving replies from british shops to whom i wrote seeking a position (of employment...), the note sent to bob jackson's elicited a letter written to me on JRJ stationery. the firm was based on 148 harehills lane in leeds, england. the directors were listed as: J.R. Jackson B.M. Jackson J.R. Foster fwiw, the letter said, 'uh, we're not interested'. e-RICHIE http://www.save-everything.com
