Somewhere around the house I have a piece of tubing (aka "pipe") from a Fiorello tandem. It was not a high-end unit. It was very thick gauge, even for a tandem. Sooo, since there may have been a range of models, I'd look down that seat tube really carefully. butted tubing is expected on moderate priced to bottom-end bikes of the era. At the other end, both Columbus and Falck tubing is stamped, and the stamp usually is near the top end of the down-tube, facing up (in my experience). Good luck!
