I don't understand why people who own these forks and know about the reports of failure would even consider riding them. If you take the standard approach to risk by evaluating the probability of occurrence with the consequences of it occurring, then any sane person would realize that it just isn't worth it to continue to ride a fork like this. I call this "kissing the snake twice". Not a wise thing to do, I don't care how much enjoyment it gives you to ride the original design. And, I'm sure some anal analyst will ask for the statistically proven rate of failure.....Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
