Paint Afficianados:

Hey, where does an ordinary guy find a wide selection of colors in spray cans? Or is this no longer possible in this modern low-volatile-content world?

I found a nice junk bike to be my new commuter and I decided I wanted to spiff it up in a nice ridiculous seventies color, like metallic lime green or metallic bright orange. So I go to the auto parts store and they have, like, 12 GM-approved SUV colors and none of 'em are remotely close to what I had in mind.

This ain't no fancy restoratin' I be contemplatin'. I just wanna slop a nice nostalgic "mod" color over a weather-beaten semi-chromed straight-guage Italvega garage-sale cast-off.

I remember in the seventies you could get Krylon Kar Kolor in almost any shade and there were stores with vast racks full of it. Is there a vendor in Nor Cal with that kinda stuff? Is there mail order?

Thanks for any info.
