OK, well to share the data points I have:

The Frejus road that was recently bought by Bill Howard was bought new in 1962 and has serial # 100182. (http://www.wmsbrg.com/frejus)

The bike I'm trying to date was purchased at Stuyvesant's in NYC in the spring of 1965, and was then purchase by the owner I got it from second-hand in 1969. It's serial # is 103857.

His story: "The next spring, I and a couple of other guys got our Paramounts and another bunch (the cheap guys) got Frejuses at Stuyvesant's in NYC. It's one of those that I got from the guy, who had quit racing. It could have been hanging around before it was sold for 5 years for all I know. The guy I got it from was named Wick. Should be easy to track down someone who lived in NJ in 1965 with the last name of Wick, LOL."

That name ring a bell for anyone? ;-)

Anyway the 103857 might throw a wrench into Joe's timeline a bit.
