I hate to waste bandwidth here, but I must put in my 2 cents worth.

I have known Jim and Susan for many years, and since Jim and I are the same size, we have traded bikes between us. He and I have traded a Jack Taylor curve tube, a Condor with hand cut lugs, a Singer, the Dave Moulton seen on the CR website, and others that I have forgotten. He has also repainted a variety of bikes, including an Eisentraut, a Santana, a Cinelli, the afore-mentioned Condor, and others for me. The only complaint that I have is his requirement to put his Cyclart decal on the chainstay. The work is top notch and, yes, expensive, but I have always been happy with the end result.

So, I guess you can count me as a satisfied customer a few times over.

Now can we go back to figuring out whether a builder is a builder if he doesn't actually build frames?
