All:

I had the good fortune to visit the Singer shop in Levallois in October and I THINK (I was in awe and distracted from some of the individual details) I saw a threadless stem or 2 on some of the bikes in the showroom.

I was also quite surprised to see bicycles equipped with current Shimano drivetrains and Cyclotouriste cranksets!

By the way, the price for a complete Singer rando bike was 4,000 Euro (1 Euro = about 1 buck).
