When you consider what is hand made, racks, stem, etc, $4,000 for a custom Singer sounds reasonable. You could, of course, spend more or less. Also, keep in mind that price would include a completely chromed frame but does NOT include a VAT of 18% or so.

I have to tell you, though, after seeing both, I would prefer a Sachs.
